Thanks to a Fulbright scholarship he moved to Harvard and obtained his first PhD in 2024 with a study on CRISPR/CAS technology in which he improved the results of Horizontal Gene Transfer on mammalian neural cell samples. He obtained a job at the R&D department of the prestigious pharmaceutical company Roche in Basel. There he developed new approaches to gene therapy while expanding his studies in microbiology. He obtained another PhD in zoology in 2029 at the University of Sciences in Zurich.
Six years later, at the age of 31, he became a research professor at Harvard’s MIT. There he developed his controversial and famous regenerative therapy to correct congenital autism. After years of experiments with rodents, he decides to apply the new procedure on himself to correct his Asperger’s. The publication of the results in the magazine Science one year later, showing the genetic tare of his own neuronal cells and the result after the therapy, literally shocked the world.
The prestige acquired, added to his new social skills as a lecturer, attracted the attention of Akira Isozaki in 2039 for his project of the new Institute of Digital Development. From the 2040s onwards, the so-called “Harvard Group” would promote a new way of doing research across the board, bringing together advances in quantum computing, genetics and algorithmics with the ambitious goal of prolonging human life and eradicating hunger throughout the world.
It would take twenty years, after many genetic improvements applied to food, the partial cure of Alzheimer’s, or the development of Van Roisemberg’s new mutational algorithms, for the results of the regenesis of the epithelial cells of a famous, elderly Hollywood actress to be published in Nature in 2062. The disclosure of her new rejuvenation therapy caused the shares of cosmetic surgery corporations around the world to plummet.
The Media immediately echoed the “miracle of the second youth”. Not only can you live longer, you can live younger. The Swedish Academy awarded him the Nobel Prize for Medicine two years later, at the age of 60.
Currently aged 116 and after two reGenerations, he combines his consultancy work for numerous institutions and Capital-Science Consortiums with his work as Director of the Genomics section of the Board of Sages of GlassCity.
