At the end of the 21st century, with the consolidation of transCapitalism, the first autonomous suitcases appeared on the market, heirs of the advances made in industrial robotics. Equipped with very small and light batteries, but with reduced mobility, they caused excessive planetary energy consumption and were considered anti-ecological. Since the culture of travel has always involved dragging suitcases on foot, it was not considered socially logical that the suitcase should move with a battery and a motor. Tourism migrations continued to grow at a very high rate and the United Nations banned this type of luggage, as it endangered the incipient ecological balance achieved.
It was not until the present century, specifically during the Buenos Aires Olympics in 2112, that the first intelligent autonomous suitcases appeared on the market, this time powered by the new MetaWave Dissipation Network recently inaugurated by the United Nations.
Samsonite launched the AutoKase collection a few months before the sporting event and it was an unexpected success. The suitcase was prepared to read the new bioChips and thus follow you as you walk, as if it were an obedient pet. Its other great innovation was the exclusive system of traction lines on the back, for going up and down stairs. Its intelligent gyroscope system allows it to move forward on two wheels, calculating the appropriate inclination according to the center of gravity of its contents.
A genuine robot travel companion, which can also serve as a seat during the dreaded airport waits due to delays or cancellations.
