History

Introduced in the mid-2090s, the concept of the modular all-terrain robot responded to new needs in the face of increasingly common climatic catastrophes. The levels of control achieved by means of satellite imaging and horizontal imaging around the globe made the enormous resources of pairs or groups of police officers patrolling deserts, forests or steppes unnecessary. The NEKSIA system would replace these agents and their armed presence in landscapes around the globe. The backhand bioChip implant, mandatory in newborns after the Planetary Act of 2095, contributed greatly to this decision, along with the re-foundation of INTERPOL as a planetary-wide security body in 2098.

The NEKSIA program has stereoscopic and holographic cameras in all its versions. Their anamorphite processor allows them to detect weapons with electronic ammunition, operate in coordination with each other around the world and from InterPol headquarters on every continent. The Country model is specially designed for forest inspections, weather surveillance or for the pursuit of suspects in rough terrain.

Its ultra-light technopolymer structure is non-deformable, and its three powerful, free-swinging engines give it the greatest flexibility in any terrain, overcoming slopes of up to 38 degrees. It allows for different passenger cabin models, all with their own electric accumulator, which powers the robot’s legs when it is docked for InterPol personnel movements.By operating the same model of robot all over the world, it is the most economical vehicle to manufacture and the one with the largest number of units. There are NEKSIA factories on all five continents.
