History
The New World model launched by the Inoxcrom brand on the occasion of the Santiago de Chile Olympics of ’96, represented a paradigm shift for its time. The “retro vintage” concept previously associated with stylhographic terminals became obsolete with a much more youthful model, featuring a wide range of attractive pastel tones and prepared for the new 13G speeds. Its rotating cap, emulating the old paper color sample displays, undoubtedly provided the perfect appeal for a new market segment.
It was a major commercial success in its time and is still in use today, despite having ceased production in 2110, a decade ago. It provides its user with a new type of aesthetoMetric status, highly valued by the generation born in the mid ’70s, young adults who came of age when the planet’s final wars ended. Sociologically, they are known as the “Generation of Peace.”
