History
The urban ElectroBus, faithful to its original typology, has been refining its design in line with this premise over the last century.
Ford’s driverless model, with its unique six-wheel configuration, is currently the most widely used model in large capital cities in the system. Its precise steering and intelligent traction improve the smoothness of stopping manoeuvres at stations. The use of ramps, mandatory since the 1980s, considerably facilitates access for electric wheelchairs. Another of its advantages is the combination of Subionised Hydrogen Cell propulsion with solar panels for battery recharging, which gives it an autonomy of several days without hydrogen supply.
