History

The evolution of pallet design during the past 21st century hardly evolved at all. It was not until the early 2070s, when the ban on the use of paper also affected many wood and cellulose products, that the mass printing of smart pallets was considered. The first versions integrated load and proximity sensors. Rigid corners were standardised for such sensors, powered by tiny long-life batteries. The existing standardisation in terms of dimensions was maintained, but over the years certain measurements were refined until the current CyberPalet and CyberBox ISO programme.

 

Today, the energy consumption of these logistic carriers is virtually zero, thanks to the UN MetaWave Dissipation Network. The number of sensors has been increased, including odorimeters against possible leakage of toxic substances and a new type of pressure sensor mat based on adaptable nanomaterials. This has allowed a higher resolution to optimise the number of stackable units, depending on the weight carried by each pallet or box and the strength of the pallet with frame.

 

The programme we are presenting from Automatic Shipping Corp. is the most widely deployed on the planet with a 62% market share. Its pallets printed in recomposed wood, hybridised with carbon filaments, provide maximum strength at the lowest weight. The modular CyberBox programme allows them to be converted into stackable crates or boxes. They also avoid the use of elastic films, which are already banned in the majority of SocioSystems due to the well-known problems of waste management. Its perimeter slot system, in addition to being used to attach the structure of cages with sensors, allows the use of reusable buckles and straps, adaptable to any type of load.
