Aerial parcel delivery in rural and residential areas, on the other hand, developed rapidly in those years.
The development of new 3D-printed materials of high strength, flexibility and lightness made it possible to increase weight and volume. The range, however, was still limited to no more than 50 km. In isolated rural areas, these drones took off from conventional ground transports that flew selected routes on a daily basis, using the country’s main highways.
It was not until the 2070s, thanks to the energy transmission properties of the metaWaves, that a new generation of drones emerged, capable of travelling more than 250 km without refuelling.
The model we present, from AirTronik Corporation, apart from being the most widespread today, is the only one with urban Rooftop Stations available. Buildings that have what is colloquially called a “dovecote” on their roofs are radically different from the rest in terms of market price.
Whoever lives in one of these buildings no longer consumes overland services. All you have to do is go up to the roof of your property, choose the size of the box, place it on the weighing table, insert your package, digitally seal it with your backhand bioChip and activate your recipient’s other Rooftop Station or any other rural destination within a radius of 260 km. The recipient automatically receives a message with the expected time of landing. Depending on the time of collection, occupying a table in another ” dovecote “, the rates vary depending on who receives the box.Rates also vary according to box size, weight and trip distance.
The AeroBox system allows any type of product to be transported, including chemicals or self-contained surgical transplant boxes, thanks to its electromagnetic sealing with quantum encryption. To date, there have been no known breaches, hacks or hijackings of any of these drones, making it the most secure drone on the market to date.
